There's a lot to be said for 'pretty'. For better or worse (usually the latter) that pretty girlfriend can often be a right troll underneath but pulchritude can cement the cracks in a shoddy relationship. For a while at least.

Transformers Devastation has some pretty ugly insides, but by golly is it a gorgeous thing to look at. Cell-shaded graphics plop you straight into its cartoon universe and, before you know it, several hours have flown by without you even noticing some of its shonkier attributes.

First up, the loot-upgrades hardly make any difference to the weapon in its original state, information as to what the blazes you're supposed to do during a mission is negligible at times and she's a short wee muffin. You can count the gaming hours on one hand if you don't mess about.

However, if you're one who remembers the old cartoons fondly and would sell your organs for the chance to get face-deep in that world, slamming Autobot fist into Decepticon throat, Devastation will do you nicely.
