It's easy to be dismissive of Supercross, with its basic approach to a racing sim.

Graphics are palatable, sound effects and music barely adequate and the handling system is all over the shop, particularly on two wheels.

But this is a budget title. It'll empty your hard-earned supply of 20 sheets, which is about half a pint in central London these days.

Granted there are mounds of older, sensational titles reduced to around that, but if you're the type who fancies little more than dragging spluttering bikes around filthy tracks in the real world, you could do a lot worse than jumping on this puppy.

It's got 17 tracks, a batch of big names (apparently) and reasonably online capabilities.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
