A Christchurch cancer charity attracted the attention of shoppers in the town when they placed a vintage red bus in Saxon Square.
Macmillan Caring Locally, based at Christchurch hospital provides palliative care for patients suffering with cancer and other terminal diseases with an after care service for friends and relatives.
But due to frequent mix-ups with the national Macmillan Cancer Support, the charity has undergone a re-branding to be make local people aware of who they are.
The event in Christchurch, organised by students from Bournemouth University, saw face-painting, a samba band and other activities for people to enjoy take place throughout the day.
People were also offered a chance to place a wish on the Macmillan Wishing Tree where family and friends of loved ones lost to cancer leave notes on the tree, which will be placed in the garden at Christchurch Hospital.
