TOBY Wyles has plenty to blow his own trumpet about after being selected for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
The 12-year-old Forres Sandle Manor student was selected from more than 800 young people who auditioned at centres across the country for the five age-branded orchestras. He will play in the under-13s.
“This is going to be an absolutely amazing year for Toby and just reward for the many hundreds of hours of practice he has put in,” said trumpet teacher Dave Andrews.
“He is going to reap huge musical and social benefits playing in one of the world’s finest children’s orchestras with like-minded individuals all sharing a love for music.”
