What a difference a year makes. In 2014, Valentine's night was anything but romantic in Dorset when one of the worst storms to ever hit the county caused destruction and flooding.

Beach huts were ripped apart at Bournemouth and Avon Beach, numerous trees came down, Shore Road was under four feet of water, residents in Mudeford were evacuated from their homes - even the army was called in to help with the clean-up operation

We look back at some of the scenes from Valentine's Day 2014 when winds of up to 100mph battered Southern England, compared with how things look today.
