CHILDREN with physical and learning difficulties were treated to a special visit by Santa, thanks to a Wimborne garden centre.

John Brown’s Garden Centre, part of the Golden Acres Group, made the treat possible for youngsters attending sessions provided by Coping with CHAOS, part of Dorset disability charity Diverse Abilities Plus.

Siblings and parents of the children with disabilities were also able to attend.

Mum Debbie Dallenger said: “A huge thank you goes to the charity and John Brown’s. We had a wonderful time – my daughter Evie didn’t want to go home.”

Charlotte Richards from John Brown’s Garden Centre said: “It was lovely to see the children so happy and enjoying themselves. They all had big smiles on their faces when Santa greeted them and gave them their gift.”

Coping with CHAOS is part of Diverse Abilities Plus, a charity that supports children and adults with learning and physical disabilities, and their parents in the whole of Dorset.
