A MAGICAL grotto is being set up in Wimborne to raise money for disabled children and adults.
Visitors to John Browns Garden Centre, part of the Golden Acres Group, can visit Santa and his elves every weekend from Saturday until Sunday, December 21, with all profits donated to Diverse Abilities Plus, Dorset’s disability charity.
The grotto will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Entry is £5 per child, with each child receiving a free festive gift.
There is also an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy breakfast with Santa and his elves each weekend in December from 8.30am to 9.30am. Breakfast costs £5 and must be booked in advance.
Beccy Payne, Diverse Abilities Plus corporate and community fundraiser, said: “We are very excited about the grotto opening at John Browns Garden Centre this December and hope many children and families visit.
“It is the second year the garden centre has kindly donated funds from the grotto ticket sales to Diverse Abilities and we are extremely grateful.”
