Balmy bikers are out in force
HOT STUFF: Bike of the Night winner Les Oliver
HOT STUFF: Bike of the Night winner Les Oliver

MUCH longed for sunshine greeted bikers on Poole Quay last Tuesday night and resulted in the biggest turn-out of the season for the weekly Coles Miller Dream Machines gathering.

Among them was Les Oliver from Broadstone who ride home with the "Bike of the Night" title thanks to his striking green Kawasaki ZRX 1200R. Bike Enthusiast, Danny Young was the man to pick this bike out from the hundreds on display. He said loved everything about this bike and particular features that stood out were the bikes swing arm, filters and custom front-end not forgetting the eye catching paint job.

Les received a dyno voucher to the value of £35 courtesy of Moore Speed Racing Ltd and a race kit courtesy of Muc-off. He was also invited back to take part in the grand finale, "Bike of the Year" competition on Tuesday September 30.

An added attraction for tonight's meeting on the Quay is a trading village on site with various motorbike related companies displaying and selling a range of motorcycle accessories. The trading village will be at the event every second and fourth Tuesday of the month until the end of September, allowing bikers to browse the stalls and purchase the latest gear.

Admission to Coles Miller Dream Machines is £1 per bike unless the biker has a 2008 season armband which are now sold out.
