THE Daily Echo is holding another of its successful job fairs to help job-hunters and career changers.

The event takes place on Thursday, February 9, from 10.30am-5pm at the Premier Inn in Westover Road.

It is sponsored by LV= and will feature more than 35 employers and training companies.

Admission is free for job-seekers and the event is the ideal opportunity to meet informally a wide variety of employers and training providers.

And there will be free employment training sessions from Best Training to help you present yourself better in the jobs market.

The Daily Echo is organising the event, working in partnership with sw1jobs.com, the new home for recruitment in the South West.

Angela Boyer, key account manager with the Daily Echo, said: “Once again the Job Fair is proving to be very popular with local employers who welcome the opportunity to meet prospective employees on a face to face basis in the relaxed atmosphere that the Job Fair provides.

“Exhibitors include Farrow & Ball, The Army, Shorefield Holiday Park, Carewatch, Energy Advice Line, Yellow Buses, Health-on-Line, Mploy and Eden Vauxhall and the event is sponsored by LV= who have a range of roles that they are recruiting for in Bournemouth.

“So whether you’re looking for a new job or a change in career come early, bring your CV and allow enough time to speak to all the exhibitors. Remember that until you speak with an employer, you have no idea what roles they may have that could suit you – you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!"

Best Training’s seminars will be free to anyone, with no need to book. Just approach the Best Training’s stand at the fair and they will arrange for you to attend.

At 11am and 3pm, Best Training will run a seminar on Transferable Skills, to help you learn how to identify and gain the new skills you need to make the changes you want in your career.

At 1pm, the theme is professional and personal goal-setting. The workshop will support you in identifying what is important to you in life and at work. It will also help you identify and prioritise the actions you can take to confidently change careers.

Employers and trainers interested in booking a space can call Angela Boyer on 01202 411221.
