THE best business team nominations are being sought as part of the Dorset Business Awards.

The Team of the Year Award is back for the second year running and with a new sponsor - the 2015 Dorset Business Award winner TeamJobs.

The firm's Jason Gault said: "TeamJobs are proud to be sponsoring the Team of the Year Award at the 2016 Dorset Business Awards.

"At TeamJobs we believe having the right team is everything and this is the fundamental ingredient to a successful and happy working environment.

"Teams come in many shapes and sizes and in smaller companies can even be the entire company. In any case we want to find teams who make a difference and somehow make a bigger impact than the sum of their parts.

"This award offers a unique opportunity to recognise the hard work, professionalism and dedication of a team who have exceeded your expectations and made a real contribution to the success of your business."

Fiona Carter, from 2015 Team of the Year winner Health-on-Line, said: "I would definitely encourage others to consider entering the Dorset Business Awards and allow their companies to be recognised for the outstanding contributions they add to the local business community.

"The boost in team morale, even to be considered as a finalist for the awards is invaluable.

"Often companies might struggle to appropriately recognise teams or individuals for the work that they do due to limited budgets - but the Dorset Business Awards is a fantastic way to address this."

To enter a team - open to companies of all sizes with a BH or DT postcode - visit dorsetbusinessawards.co.uk.

Organised by the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Awards are backed by the Daily Echo, Dorset Echo and Wave 105 and are free to enter.

The closing date for entry is Friday, September 9.
