A CREATIVE communications agency in Bournemouth is expanding internationally and working for the world’s busiest airport.

Crowd, based in Winton, has expanded its Dubai office this year and opened an office in Detroit after winning more work in both areas.

Its work in the United Arab Emirates includes presiding over a digital strategy for Dubai Airports, the busiest in the world. Other projects there include a marketing strategy for the Middle East’s leading facilities management company, Cofely Besix.

Tom Berne, a former member of the Crowd team in the UK, has moved to Dubai to head the expansion as studio manager and art director.

He said: “This is an exciting opportunity, not only for myself in regards to career growth, but for the future of the company as well.

“Having already conducted business in the UAE prior to the expansion, it gives us a great advantage having a full-time dedicated team in Dubai.”

The work for Dubai Airports has included creating several public and internal websites, acting as a digital marketing consultancy and handling internal communication,

Crowd’s Detroit office will be its second in the US, following one in San Francisco. It will cover both North America and mid-America.

Crowd’s UK work includes working for the South West Regional Growth Fund to help attract overseas students to the region.

It also worked with Kenwood’s product development department to recruit food and technology bloggers to shape future product lines.

Other clients have included logistics and transport service Aramex, luxury real estate brand Oryx World, the French tourism website Rendezvous En France and Visit California.
