BREWERY Hall & Woodhouse is supporting children’s hospices through its choice of charity partner for the next two years.

It will be working with Together For Short Lives, a national charity for children and young people who are expected to have short lives.

As part of its fundraising, it will work with the charity to support Julia’s House in Poole and five other children’s hospices across the south. Each will be supported by Hall & Woodhouse pubs in their area.

Fifty-four Hall & Woodhouse pubs are taking part, aiming to raise more than £250,000.

Hall & Woodhouse charity champion Lucinda Gray said: “The incredible work of Together for Short Lives touches many lives and helps so many families, so we are proud to have so many of our public houses backing the campaign.

“Having raised a phenomenal £248,000 for Macmillan in 2013 and 2014, I know our team and guests will do everything we can to exceed that.”

Fundraising was due to begin last night with participation in PubAid’s event The World’s Biggest Quiz.
