A TELECOMS business has been recognised for the third time as one of Britain’s best companies to work for.

Christchurch-based 4Com PLC has received the top level of recognition in the Best Companies awards, which guarantees it a high ranking in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2015.

It is the third time the company has achieved the distinction.

Its three-star Best Companies award was the result of confidential staff surveys and feedback conducted by Best Companies with 4Com employees.

The final positions in the Sunday Times small companies guide will be revealed at an awards ceremony in London on February 25 and will form the basis of a supplement in the paper on March 8. 4Com was ranked 16th last year.

Daron Hutt, chairman and managing director of 4Com, said: “I am once again so proud and pleased for 4Com to be recognised with this award and accreditation.

“This award is so important to me and my fellow directors, as the award is awarded on employee engagement results.

“With over 98 per cent of staff surveyed, the results are so pleasing, knowing that we have the best people, working so hard to achieve exceptional levels of customer service each and every day.

“It really is a wonderful place to work, with brilliant people who care about not only their individual roles and standards of work, but want to help achieve the company’s objectives and aims.”

4Com PLC, established in 1999, is one of the fastest-growing providers of telecommunications services in the UK, specialising in providing equipment and services for the SME sector.
