WIMBORNE’S Business Improvement District (BID) will see a change of faces at its AGM this month.
Current BID chairman Philip Maunder has decided to relinquish his role as a BID director.
His decision means there will be seven candidates for seven places, eliminating the need for an election.
The directors, who will include three new members, will be introduced to levy-payers at the meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 6pm, in Allendale House.
Mr Maunder, whose business is Summers Insurance in Leigh Road, said of his recent decision: “My business needs more of my time than I am currently able to give to it.
“It is extremely busy at the moment and I cannot see this situation changing in the near future. I have therefore taken the difficult decision to step down from the BID in order to focus on my business priorities.”
