Can you help keep visitors happy during the Air Festival?

First published in News

IT’S eyes to the skies as the town comes alive for the 2014 Bournemouth Air Festival, but a leading recruitment agency is putting out an urgent call for anyone who would like to get paid to be involved.

As Bournemouth prepares to welcome around 1.3 million visitors to the festival, additional resources need to be put into place to keep the seafront and town centre areas clean and tidy, and to provide ancillary support services to all air festival activities.

Simon Thomas, director at City Centre Recruitment, says at least 50 people are required to cope with the additional work load: “The Bournemouth Air Festival is now a worldwide attraction, and really showcases the town. It’s a mammoth task to ensure that the seafront and town centre areas are kept litter free, and clean and tidy. Also, all hotels, restaurants, kiosks and outlets need additional staff to cope with the influx and ensure they maintain good standards of customer service.”

Anyone interested in air festival support can call City Centre Recruitment on 01202 586930.

It would be helpful if Bournemouth Borough Council kept our town litter free, and clean and tidy the rest of the year too, it's just neglected in many areas.

There are enough people on community work punishment that could do this for nothing and it would give them something to keep them out of trouble.
I thought this type of thing was what they had to do when they had been naughty.

They already do it, they can't become two people for an air festival! Every weekend they're out at the crack of dawn cleaning the town ready for it to be trashed again the next night!
