THIS year’s Christchurch Motor Show has been hailed a success.
The Echo-backed event was held at Twynham School playing field over Saturday and Sunday and showed off a large range of cars on one site.
The relaxed family day out encourages customers to broaden their horizons and consider cars they may not have previously had on their shopping list.
Guy Neale, Bournemouth Echo’s advertisement manager, said attendance was good on both days.
“It has been a great success. The weather has held up for us. It has been great.”
Co-organiser Mike Conley of Keith Motors said: “It has been a smaller show than in the past but it has been very well received. There was lots of business being done.”
Mark Laming, sales director of Seward Cars, said: “There was a lot of interest in the scrappage allowance scheme.
“We took over 75 enquiries and eight orders on Saturday and the car park had to be closed about 1pm for an hour because there was just so many people there.”
