NATIONAL leisure operator Bowlplex PLC of Poole has continued its expansion programme by launching another bowling and entertainment complex.
Bowlplex has invested nearly £3m in the 20-lane facility in the new Atrium development in Camberley, Surrey.
It’s the company’s eighteenth family entertainment centre and the second to open in the space of a few weeks.
Around 500 guests joined Bowlplex managing director, Tracy Standish, at the opening.
They included former bowling champion Pip Care, now in her 80s, who works three days a week at the Bowlplex in Basingstoke.
Mr Standish said: “I have had excellent feedback. Everyone seems to be very impressed with the facilities.”
All the licensing work for the complex was completed by Bournemouth solicitor Lionel Fynn of Horsey Lightly Fynn, who has handled all Bowlplex’s applications over the years.
The 30,000 square foot Camberley site houses 20 bowling lanes, nine American pool tables and video gamesequipment.
There’s also a bar and restaurant. Bowlplex was established in 1984.
