Cherries tickets to be sold at the Pavilion

TICKETS for AFC Bournemouth will be available at the BIC and Pavilion again this season.

The football club has renewed its arrangement with BH Live after a year’s break and the company will also handle telephone ticket sales for home matches.

Richard Poole, AFC Bournemouth’s ticketing manager, said, “We are delighted to be working with BH Live on this project which I am confident will enhance the ticket purchasing service the club offers to its customers.

“Both organisations have invested in and developed the same ticket sales system and therefore the BIC will have the same access to all available seats for a match as our own ticket sales assistants.

“The benefit to our customers is more operators available to take calls and extended opening hours, with no additional administration or fee costs when they buy.”

BH Live was set up as a not-for-profit organisation to manage council venues in 2010.

Tickets can still be purchased by calling 0844 576 1910 from 9am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 9am to 5.30pm on Sundays.

Tickets can be bought at the Pavilion daily from 10am to 5.30pm or from the BIC from 11.30am – 3pm.

Hmm hopefully our credit is good enough with BH Live now (presumably they have not run Mitchell through Experian or Euler Hermes!).

Previously there was a silly situation where if you ordered tickets online with them, you had to wait at the ground on match day for some young lady to turn up in a Renault 5 with the tickets in a box on the back seat......then you had to queue up to pay for them.

Why can't we just pay through the turnstiles as we always did? It would also increase the gate potential from passing trade.

Bh live ticketing is a rip off.
They use an 0848 number which costs an arm and a leg to ring and then have the nerve to charge a £2 booking fee.
Yet again the fans who buy over the phone or on the internet are penalised.

I booked Starlight Express tickets. The total booking fee was £7 but get this. They then charged me £1 to download, yes download the tickets. For around 15 years the tourism office got away with having a premium rate line charging £1 per minute. People would phone up asking for brochures, hotel info etc and they would deliberately let the call ring as long a possible to rack up the charge. Scam!
