Junction's accident waiting to happen
What is the matter with designers these days? Like, I suspect, many of your readers when the plans for the non-improvements to the Canford Bottom junction were shown here in the Echo, I thought to myself, “That will never work. It is far too complicated”. And sure enough we have already had several accidents. All because of the Olympics in Weymouth, which last 10 days or so! read more

Not right message for Carnival views
IT was a real pleasure to watch the parade for the Winton Carnival. However, I was shocked to see the float for pole dancing classes complete with demonstrations. This was inappropriate, particularly at a family event. I am aware that some consider this to be a legitimate form of exercise, but the associations with strip clubs and women being ogled as sex objects is clear. This is not the right message to send the children of Winton. read more
