GAISFORD WILLIAM (Bill) Aged 76 The beloved husband of Nunchy will be sadly missed following his passing on Thursday 23rd August 2007 following a long illness borne with uncomplaining fortitude and courage, typical of Bill.  He will be fondly remembered by his boating friends at his boatyard in Tuckton as a kind, gentle and generous man. This caring nature exhibited itself not only looking after people and their boats, but to wildlife which frequented his yard. Regardless of weather conditions he would ensure they had food on a daily basis, not forgetting the resident stray cat "Tiger" for whom he provided food and shelter, and thought the world of. He surely earnt his place in heaven.  "That part of the river will never fall dark, because Bill blessed it with an indelible mark."  The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday 5th September 2007 at 1pm at The Christchurch Priory, followed by the committal service for immediate family at Bournemouth Crematorium.
