EDWARD RONALD It is with great sadness the family announce that Edward, founder of Cookes Furniture has peacefully passed away, aged 83, last Tuesday 8th April.  Loving Husband to Pauline, adoring Father to Eleanor and Graham and devoted Grandad to Michelle, Vanessa and Jennifer.  A highly respected character in the furniture trade and much thought of by the local community, he will be sadly missed.  The Funeral will take place on Friday 25th April at 12.00 noon at St Michael's Church, Boldmere, followed by a private service at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium. HEINTZMAN (nee POINTER) JOAN PEGGY Previously of Pound Lane, Poole, Joan aged 88 years, beloved Wife of the late Ted, passed away peacefully on 12th April 2008 after a long illness. A loving Mother to Carolyn and Mike, Mother-In-Law to Mike and Hilary, Granny to Sarah, James and Clare, Pete and Tom, and Great Granny to Jessica, Giorgia and Yasmin. Poole born and bred, a long-time member of St George's Church Oakdale, Secretary to the Autumn Club and a member of the local Children's Society Committee, in 1999 Joan received a Poole Achievement Award for her contribution to society. Funeral and Service celebrating her life will be held at St. George's Church on Thursday 24th April at 2.00pm.
