A moving Service to be remembered, which uplifted us all, our thanks for your friendship and support and 'always look on the bright side of life', what a finale. To the Reverend Paul Simester, the family offer their personal thanks for the perfect day he helped to achieve. We, the family, were content with our day of final farewell. RODGER

RODGER IAN WHITE Rodger died on Friday 11th June at the Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester aged 55 years. He died peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. He will be badly missed by many people. He touched the lives of many; his family who he loved so much, his many loyal friends, his colleagues in social work and social work education, and the many children who in 20 years of social work he befriended, protected and advocated for. All who have been with Rodger throughout his illness send their grateful thanks to the marvellous medical team involved in his treatment and care. Rodger's family will welcome all friends, colleagues, students and ex-students to a celebration of his life on Monday 21st June at the Thomas Hardy Hall, Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester at 12.45p.m followed by interment at Poundbury Cemetery and then a reception at The Saxon Arms, Stratton, Nr Dorchester. No flowers please, but we will make a collection on the day for Cystic Fibrosis, the Joseph Weld Hospice and the Cornwall Road Practice, but if you would prefer please send cheques to Grassby Funeral Directors, 9 Princes Street, Dorchester.
