ATTWILL ERIC JARVIS Unexpectedly on the 6th August at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, aged 74. Adored and beloved husband of Marilyn for 50 years, an inspiration to his loving children Steven, Michael, Ian and Lorraine.
Admired and loved father-in-law of Debbie, Julie, Simon and soon to be Samantha. His seven grandchildren brought much joy and they had all loved to sit on his lap when they were young, and when they were not so young, doing "wheelies" in his wheelchair. Eric had been paralysed for 48 years. Despite his disability, and never to walk again, he returned to full time employment for 30 years as a compositor spending 16 years with the Bournemouth Echo. So my darling you are sleeping until God's Kingdom comes when we will meet again. My beloved we will be able to run once more along Bournemouth beach hand-in-hand for eternity. Service at Poole Crematorium on Friday 24th August at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, if desired donations made payable to "The British Polio Fellowship" may be sent c/o  1537 Wimborne Road, Kinson BH10 5BD.
