BOSS Eddie Howe is set to make a decision on the immediate futures of Cherries pair Sam Surridge and Matt Worthington who have both enjoyed productive loan spells with Yeovil.

Striker Surridge has netted seven times in 33 appearances since joining the Glovers on a season-long agreement in August.

And although Cherries have an option to recall him this month, the 19-year-old frontman would be ineligible for their FA Cup third round clash against Wigan on Saturday.

Surridge played his part in helping Yeovil set up a third round date with Bradford City at Huish Park, lining up in wins over Southend and Port Vale in the first two rounds.

Midfielder Worthington, whose loan expired following the New Year's Day defeat by Crawley, is also cup-tied having featured against the Shrimpers and the Valiants.

Yeovil are understood to be keen to renew Worthington's deal and keep Surridge for the second half of the season.

Joe Quigley (Newport County), Mihai Dobre (Bury), Ollie Harfield (Poole) and Callum Stanton (Guernsey) have all returned to Vitality Stadium following the expiry of their respective deals.

Sam Matthews's loan with Eastleigh is due to end after their National League clash with Guiseley on Saturday, although the Spitfires are understood to be keen to renew it.
