WIMBORNE Town have boosted their squad with the addition of three players ahead of their curtain raiser at Merthyr Town next weekend.

Centre-back Patrick Wilson has returned to the club he left in February, while former Hamworthy United defender Tom Biles and Andy Powell have signed following successful trials at Cuthbury.

Boosted their squad this is very debatable, Wilson left last season and was not missed big & tall but as slow as they come IMO, Biles couldn't get a game for Hamworthy or Christchurch last season good bench warmer & although Powell has scored all tap ins he is not good enough at this standard. I can see WTFC really struggle this season especially if the have a couple of injuries.

This comment probably is sour grapes. Evidently knows very little about football.Should put his name next to his conviction.

Good to see Steve is turning to the reserves and helping developing them, NOT.

Sour grapes about what? I am a 55yr old who is way too old to be playing. I am commenting on an article that I believe I have the right to as I am not only a WTFC supporter but also a season ticket holder. Why should I put my name when clearly you don't show yours ! You are clearly a member of the cliche or one of the above player's, sometimes the truth hurts but you are now playing with men so deal with it. Also when hard working people like myself pay the money I am entitled to my opinion. I hope I am wrong but I am concerned.

At 55. you should know better than comment at the beginning of the season. Wait till the end of the season and if you are correct. Well done. They have already won their first game.

Sorry they have already won their first game? which friendly was that you are talking about, as that is all they have played so far. They don't actually start league football until Saturday. I assume you are not a player as you wouldn't have made such a stupid comment "They have already won their first game"
