TEAM England’s new recruit Steve Way will return to club colours tomorrow when he takes part in the 10km race at Poole’s Festival of Running.
Bournemouth AC’s Way, recently selected to represent his country in the marathon at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the end of July, will compete in what doubles up as race five of the Dorset Road Race League Series 2014.
Last year’s winner, Kenyan Boniface Kiprop Kongin, returns to defend his crown, while compatriot Joan Chelimo Melly is favourite to win the ladies title.
The Poole Festival of Running begins at 10am with children’s Minithon races and the Daily Echo supported Dorset Cancer Centre 5km at 11:30am.
As well as the races, there is additional entertainment with stalls, refreshments and children’s activities.
