CHERRIES goalkeeper Benji Buchel earned his sixth international cap last night with a 45-minute appearance in Liechtenstein’s 5-1 friendly defeat to Belarus.
The 24-year-old stopper, who finished last season on loan at Conference South club Havant & Waterlooville, replaced Cengiz Bicer at half-time with his side already 3-0 down.
Pavel Savitski scored twice inside seven second-half minutes for Belarus before Franz Burgmeier scored from the penalty spot for the hosts.
