5:05pm

Many thanks for joining us today. Not the result Cherries wanted but it keeps the unbeaten run going.

5:03pm

Bournemouth Poppies lost 2-1 at home to Alresford in the Wessex Premier while Bournemouth rugby triumphed 24-17 against Exmouth.

5:01pm

Southern League final scores: Poole 1 Truro 0, Weymouth 2 Bashley 0, Clevedon 3 Wimborne 1,

4:59pm

After nearly eight minutes of stoppage time, ref Graham calls a halt to proceedings. Cherries will feel they should have won that. Boro were really up against it in the closing stages.

4:57pm

4:56pm

Now or never...

4:53pm

A lengthy delay before Carayol is stretchered off. His left leg is heavily strapped. Curtis Main comes on in his place.

4:51pm

Tokelo Rantie comes on for Surman.

4:49pm

Surman runs across the edge of the area and unleashes a left-footed rocket that is bound for the top-left corner, but again Konstantopoulos makes a terrific flying save.

4:47pm

Camp is swiftly in to prevent Graham getting a clean strike on a cross from the left.

4:42pm

We're heading for 0-0 here. Boro fans must be delighted with another one of those...

4:41pm

Emmanuel Ledesma came on for Leadbitter in the 77th minute, by the way.

4:39pm

Pugh’s cross is half-cleared and Simon Francis nearly sends home a screamer from 25 yards, but Konstantopolous tips it over diving to his right. This has livened up and it's Cherries that are turning the screw.

4:38pm

Pugh passes to Surman and he in turn finds the wide man in a good position in the box, but the ball gets stuck under Pugh’s feet and Ben Gibson flies in with a crucial saving challenge.

4:36pm

O’Kane is booked after he was adjudged to have taken a tumble in the area.

4:29pm

There has been very little to inspire from either team in the second period thus far.

4:29pm

On comes Marc Pugh with Ritchie making way.

4:25pm

Cook clears Carayol’s cross with Lee Camp poised to claim. The centre-half did not want to take any chances. He cuts out another dangerous delivery moments later as well.

4:23pm

A real shame Coulibaly had to come off. He had been offered flair and pace down the left.

4:21pm

The hosts looking the more likely to find the net so far this half.

4:20pm

Coulibaly goes down injured following an aerial challenge and is subbed, with Ryan Fraser coming on. This moments after Nathaniel Chalaboh came on for Tomlin for the visitors.

4:14pm

Coulibaly jinks past two challenges and finds Arter, who picks out Surman 20 yards from goal. His shot deflects wide. Half-decent chance.

4:13pm

Grabban’s header loops harmlessly into the arms of Konstantopoulous. In fairness to the Cherries front man, he was straining for that one.

4:10pm

Ritchie is right on the dead ball line and his attempted cross pings back off the outside the post. Oddly, as close as anyone has come.

4:05pm

3:58pm

Exmouth have now drawn level at 17-17 at Bournemouth rugby.

3:57pm

Here at Dean Court, the first half never quite caught fire. Coulibaly and Ritchie intermittently looked a threat but Grabban had scraps to feed off. At the back, the defence was not tested a great deal.

3:55pm

Bournemouth rugby lead Exmouth 17-14 in the early stages of the second half.

3:54pm

Bournemouth Poppies are 1-0 up against Alresford in the Wessex Premier.

3:53pm

Southern League latest: Poole 1 Truro 0, Weymouth 0 Bashley 0, Clevedon 2 Wimborne 1.

3:52pm

The first half ended with a flowing move from the hosts which saw Grabban feed Surman and the midfielder shot several yards over the bar from outside the area. Coulibaly was in space on the left flank and that might have been the better option.

3:47pm

3:47pm

Tomlin takes Carayol’s cross first-time on the volley but his finish is more Six Nations than Championship. Well over the bar. Moments later, Dean Whitehead is booked following a challenge on Arter.

3:44pm

Konstantopoulos loses the ball under pressure from Grabban at the edge of the area and the Cherries front man slots into the net from a narrow angle. But ref Graham says Grabban fouled the stopper. Not sure about that one.

3:43pm

Cherries’ best football of the half – which heavily involves the tricky Coulibaly – results in Leadbitter blocking from Andrew Surman.

3:38pm

There's bits and bobs of good football but very few chances so far.

3:37pm

Lee Tomlin robs O'Kane but centre-half Steve Cook gets across to make a terrific block from the Boro man's shot just outside the area.

3:32pm

Mustapha Carayol takes aim but his deflected shot from 20 yards spins away for a corner.

3:31pm

Not a great deal of penetration from either side so far.

3:24pm

Grant Leadbitter goes into the notebook for kicking out at Ritchie. The home supporters wanted a red for that one. Ian Harte’s subsequent free kick delivery from the left is nodded a fraction over the bar by George Friend. Very close to an own goal.

3:23pm

3:22pm

Arter lifts over the top for Grabban who is clean through on goal. The linesman flags but it looked perfectly-timed to me.

3:20pm

Just the one nervy moment for Cherries so far, when skipper Tommy Elphick cleared a dangerous ball across goal.

3:18pm

Another lovely short-corner routine. Eunan O’Kane played it short to Lewis Grabban and he fed Ritchie, who pulled across goal. Boro deal with the danger.

3:13pm

Matt Ritchie looks extremely lively so far. One fantastic cross-field pass to Coulibaly and very energetic in general.

3:08pm

Boro are sitting very deep, allowing Cherries to see plenty of the ball so far.

3:07pm

Grant Leadbitter has a nibble at Arter which the Cherries midfielder takes exception to, pushing the Boro skipper in frustration. Ref Graham turns a blind eye.

3:05pm

Loose play in midfield by Cherries and Dean Whitehead plays forward for Danny Graham to lash wildly over.

3:03pm

Coulibaly is playing on the left of a five in midfield. O'Kane sitting deep.

3:01pm

3:00pm

Good to see Harry Arter has overcome his calf problem but there is no place for Yann Kermorgant, who has been struggling with a heel complaint.

2:57pm

Here come the players.

2:56pm

2:56pm

2:55pm

2:52pm

The referee today is Fred Graham. He brandished six yellow cards when Cherries beat Portsmouth 1-0 in the Capital One Cup in August.

2:52pm

The players are minutes away from entering the field of play.

2:47pm

Congratulations go to Cherries boss Eddie Howe for his Football League award nomination - that being the outstanding Managerial Achievement Award. It's all good news coming out of Dean Court at the moment.

2:43pm

I stumbled across an interesting stat this morning. Cherries haven't won four in a row and kept clean sheets in all those those games since 1984, when Harry Redknapp was in charge and the club was in the old Division 3. Eddie Howe was six years old at the time.

2:40pm

Meanwhile, Bournemouth rugby entertain Exmouth.

2:39pm

Non-league fixtures involving local clubs in the Southern League and Wessex League this afternoon: Poole v Truro, Weymouth v Bashley, Clevedon v Wimborne, Bournemouth Poppies v Alresford, Christchurch v Downton, Verwood v Newport (IOW), Whitchurch v Hamworthy, Team Solent v New Milton, United Services Portsmouth v Ringwood.

2:31pm

Boss Eddie Howe makes one change with Mohamed Coulibaly brought in for only his second start of the season, his only previous start being in the 2-1 opening-day victory over Charlton. The Swiss has struggled with injury for much of the season but featured as a substitute in the wins over Blackburn and Doncaster. It looks like Coulibaly will play in behind Lewis Grabban. Ryan Fraser drops to the bench.

2:30pm

So, team news, and there have been some interesting developments...

2:30pm

Good afternoon and welcome to Dean Court where Cherries face fellow mid-table outfit Middlesbrough in the Championship this afternoon. It's a glorious spring day and the sun is out. Perfect conditions for football.
