THE field for Gary Havelock's farewell meeting has been completed with Poole track record holder Antonio Lindback confirmed as the final name on board.

'The Rio Rocket' set the memorable mark as a Pirates rider in 2006 and will now return to Wimborne Road on Friday, March 21 (7.30pm).

“Antonio was amongst the first names on my list of invitees,” said Havelock.

”We talked before Christmas and he was really excited about the chance to come back to Poole where he was so popular whilst wearing the skull and crossbones.

"We have been friends a long time, in fact, since Antonio was 16 and he came to race at his local club Masarna in Sweden.

"We rode there together, along with Tony Rickardsson and Leigh Adams, before Antonio came to the UK and linked up with the Pirates so that, along with a great history at Poole, made him a natural choice."

The 16-strong field will be split into two teams managed by former Grand Prix stars Rickardsson and Mark Loram.

An individual competition will also take place on the night.

Confirmed line-up: Antonio Lindback, Chris Holder, Darcy Ward, Greg Hancock, Freddie Lindgren, Scott Nicholls, Maciej Janowski, Chris Harris, Bjarne Pedersen, Craig Cook, Davey Watt, Vaclav Milik, Ty Proctor, Richie Worrall.
