DORSET cross-country champion Richard Horton featured on the fourth-placed team at the English National Cross-Country Championships.
Horton finished 79th in Nottingham, completing the 12km course in 39:02, but could not lift Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers into the medal places.
The Winton-based Loughborough University student’s 14th-placed 52:45 over 15km had helped the club to team gold in the South of England Championships.

- Jack Partridge won the B race at the British Universities Cross-Country Championships in Stirling.
Representing St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, the Poole Runner clocked 25:27 to win by 16 seconds.
Although primarily focused on the indoor track season, Melissa Courtney was ninth in the women’s event for Brunel University.
