ELLINGHAM & Ringwood had to settle for two bonus points in their first London Three South West match for six weeks.

The fourth-placed hosts ran out of steam against second-bottom Old Wellingtonians who snatched a 23-22 victory at Parsonage Barn Lane.

Charlie Cockram scored early on before tries from Dominic Pitt and Dan Stewart seemingly put the E’s in control.

However, the visitors hit back with efforts either side of Ben Warren’s spell in the sin bin before taking an eight-point lead going into the dying stages.

Pitt’s second try of the afternoon made things interesting but the hosts were unable to grab a winning score late on.

Tom Morgan, Joe Garrett, Charlie Davis, George Johnson and Ryan Anthoney were the try scorers as promotion-chasing Oakmeadians completed a 52-8 success over Westbury.

Elsewhere, Lytchett romped to a 104-0 over Oakmeadians II with Wayne Hansell (3), Alex Wilson (3), Lewis Mitchell (3), Daryl Cormack (4), Jake Molton, Peter Lloyd (2) and Pete Wilkinson (2) scoring the tries.
