THE Mayor of Bournemouth Cllr Eddie Coope was the guest of honour at BH Live's family fun day today.
The free event – which takes place today and tomorrow - saw scores of young families gather at the Pavilion in Bournemouth on to take part in a number of activities.
There will be a number of enticing rides tomorrow at the Littledown Centre.
Amid the crowds venturing to the beach for a stroll, were young children bursting at the seams to take part in the games on display during this afternoon.
Youngsters had the change to hook-a-duck, have their faces painted, get their hands on a balloon animal, and enjoy the inflatable maze.
There was archery, hair-braiding, and a stall with information about the Bournemouth Pavilion Youth Theatre.
