THREE people arrested in connection with the death of teenager Jack Gudge have been told they will face no further action.
The 17-year-old died following an assault in Wimborne Road, Winton, in the early hours of Saturday, July 16.
At the time three men, aged 27, 24, and 23, and a 15-year-old boy, all from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of murder but were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
However no further action will now be taken against three of them
A statement released by Dorset Police said: "In consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service three of the four people arrested in relation to the investigation into the death of 17-year-old Jack Gudge have been released from police bail with no further action.
"A fourth arrested person, a 24-year-old Bournemouth man, remains on police bail until October pending further enquiries."
On the night of the attack, police and paramedics arrived at the scene outside Tesco Express to find Jack lying unconscious. They worked hard to resuscitate him.
He was then taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.
