The A352 has re-opened following a crash between Bovington roundabout and Wool railway station.

The crash involved three vehicles and took place just before 12noon today. Two people were injured and taken to Poole Hospital, a woman with facial injuries and a man with neck injuries.  

Purbeck Police are advising motorists to drive with care as officers are still on scene along with recovery vehicles.

Fire and ambulance were also on scene. One woman was extracted from a vehicle by the fire service.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said the crash happened close to the crossing at Wool. He said: "The vehicles involved are a black Ford Focus registered to a man from kent, a lorry registered to a company from Staffordshire and a grey Audi A4, registered to a man from Wareham.

"Dorset Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene and extracted a woman from the Ford Focus."

The road was closed the Wareham side of the crossing.
