Passenger fall leads to cancelled bus
AN elderly man has been taken to hospital after falling on a bus in Wimborne.
The number 13 Morebus service, which was scheduled to leave Wimborne Square for Bournemouth at 11.50am, was cancelled after a male passenger fell moments before it was due to depart.
A Morebus spokesperson said the bus driver helped the man and phoned for an ambulance.
A South Western Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed an ambulance was sent to the scene at 11.49am and the patient was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
She said there are no details available of his condition.
The bus service has now returned to its normal schedule.
