RESIDENTS of Lytchett Matravers, who have been without electricity since 3.30am are expected to have their power restored by lunchtime today.
Southern Electric said 127 customers had been cut off after a fault in a transformer and a generator was on its way to the village.
Engineers have been on site since 4.30am and a spokesman said the priority was to get the electricity supply back on as quickly as possible.
