A MAN from Wimborne who was reported as missing on Thursday has been found, said Dorset Police.
David Button, 54, who was last seen at his home address in the St Leonards area at 3pm on August 7, was found safe and well just after 11.30am this morning.
He had left a note saying that he was going for a walk but did not return as expected, leading to him being reported as missing at 10pm on Thursday night.
Dorset Police put out an appeal for information as to David’s whereabouts, including the fact that he had not taken any of his personal possessions or his car with him.
Force Incident Commander, Debbie Marsden, described his disappearance as ‘out of character’ and that everyone who knows him was very worried and wished to find him as soon as possible.
