A MAN has appeared in court this morning charged with rape and GBH following an alleged attack in Boscombe at the weekend.
The emergency services were called to the area of Hamilton Close at around 5.30am on Saturday.
They later cordoned off an area of the churchyard at St Clement’s Church.
This morning, 22-year-old Emmanuel Mutandi, of Kempston in Bedfordshire, appeared before Bournemouth Magistrates Court charged with rape and GBH.
He was committed to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday, August 12.
