Lifeboat called to yacht stuck between lifting bridges

First published in News

An RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew meeting was brought to a sudden halt yesterday evening after a sailing yacht with two adults and a baby on board got into difficulty. The inshore lifeboat was launched to rescue the stricken yacht, which had suffered engine failure while transiting between the Twin Sails and Old Lifting Bridge.

Hardly a maritime disaster at sea was it or when lives were at risk. Hope these idiots were charged for the expense of launching the lifeboat and crew.

Not quite sure why they are idiots ?? No where does it say anything to imply that.... Besides it's better to spend the rnli's money on this rather than posting leaflets to me or building flash new buildings... Or are you a fan of internal meetings like most companies

Where does it say anything about the rnli doing leaflet drops and erecting flash new buildings? Where does it say anything about internal meetings? How is leaflet drops part of an internal meeting?

Maybe you are related to nickynoodah?
