DORSET disability charity Diverse Abilities Plus is set to benefit from a special golf competition held in the county.
Wareham Golf Club is hosting an annual, four-person team Stableford competition, on behalf of the Captain’s Charity AM-AM, on Friday, August 15.
All proceeds will benefit the children and adults which disabilities who are supported by Diverse Abilities Plus.
The competition will be offering ‘nearest pin’ prizes and a tournament sweepstake throughout the day, followed by a prize-giving ceremony and auction.
To enter, the fee is £100 for a visiting fourball team, and £80 per team if already members of Wareham Golf Club, including a coffee reception, refreshments at the halfway hut and a two-course celebratory meal following the tournament.
Entries close on Friday, August 1. To book, visit warehamgolfclub.com and download, print and complete an entry form. All entry forms, along with a team cheque of (£80 for members, £100 for visitors) are to be posted to Wareham Golf Club, The Secretary, Wareham Golf Club, Sandford Road, Wareham, Dorset BH20 4DH.
