THE sky’s the limit for staff at a Highcliffe card shop, who are preparing to leap from a plane for charity.

Jocelyn and Stuart Britton, who own the Occasions card shop, will be joined by employee Kerry Breerton and her daughter Carly Gow, who worked in the store during her gap year, as they take the plunge and skydive from 10,000 feet.

All four will travel to Old Sarum airfield next Sunday for the skydive and together they hope to raise £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Jocelyn said: “We decided we were going to do a fundraising challenge every year and we wanted it to be a good one, we didn’t want to do anything by halves.

“I’ve been skydiving before and I just asked the others if they would fancy it and to my surprise they said yes.

“We chose Macmillan because we have heard so much about all the good work they do from our customers.

“We’ve been planning it for about four months and we’re all quite relaxed about the idea at the moment.

“The nerves will probably hit when we get to the airfield on the day.

“We’ve been well supported by customers and friends and we just can’t wait.

“We’re talking about it all the time, either to customers or with each other.”

Anyone who would like to sponsor the team can donate via their fundraising page at justgiving.
