ONE of the largest independently-owned private client wealth managers in the UK is relocating to Bournemouth.

Brewin Dolphin is moving its current Lymington and Dorchester offices to Holdenhurst Road, which is already home to several major financial services companies.

The Bournemouth office will have 18 staff, including nine qualified investment managers and financial planners.

Rob Carroll, who led the company’s Lymington office, has been appointed head of the new combined office at Waverley House.

Mr Carroll said: “We are very excited about our move to Bournemouth and we look forward to welcoming our clients and visitors to our new office. The move marks the start of a new era for us on the South Coast and we are confident that the team will continue to grow and build on the successes of the past years.”

Richard Croydon, southern regional director of Brewin Dolphin, said: “I am confident that all our clients will be very well-served from our new Bournemouth office and that we will continue to grow our important and highly-valued business in Hampshire and Dorset from this very impressive new location.”

The team will offer private clients and charities investment management, services for professional intermediaries and financial planning.

The company sponsors several local events including the Solent Music Festival, the Chalke Valley History Festival, the New Forest Show and the Commodores Cup.

Brewin Dolphin, established in 1762, manages more than £28bn of funds for more than 100,000 private clients and has 30 offices in the UK and Channel Islands.
