A man who died in a horrific accident at an industrial estate in Poole has been named as Alvaro Estrada.

Mr Estrada, a 60-year-old Irish citizen, died of trauma when he became entangled in an industrial, robber conveyer belt at Brett Landscaping and Building Products on the Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole.

The tragic accident took place at 8pm on Thursday June 5 and a police investigation was launched. The Health and Safety Executive has also been informed.

An inquest into Mr Estrada’s death and was opened and adjourned in Bournemouth by Deputy Coroner Brendan Allen. It will resume on Monday September 29.

Mr Allen heard Mr Estrada was formally identified by his wife, Helen, who lived with him at Gervis Road in Bournemouth.
