Ex-Bath Travel boss hosts UKIP leader Nigel Farage at conference

Bournemouth Echo: Stephen Bath with Nigel Farage Stephen Bath with Nigel Farage

FORMER Bournemouth travel chief Stephen Bath hosted Ukip leader Nigel Farage at a major travel conference in Malta.

The ex-Bath Travel boss is a Director of the Institute of Travel and Tourism and Mr Farage was the guest speaker at its annual conference.

Mr Bath attended social events with Mr Farage and listened to his keynote speech where he talked of his wish to reduce the power and control of the European Union.

Mr Farage’s presence at the conference has been criticised because his colleagues were campaigning in the Newark by-election at the time.

I think the point is that Farage's priorities are money making and jollying.

Surprised at you there Pete Woodley, because like him or loath him any man who can grow a small protest fringe Party to the point where it has the old political establishment so rattled that there appears to already be one fatality (Lib-dems) - something Nigel Farage has achieved in just two decades, quite clearly has priorities far more important than making money and jollying. And where was David Cameron when Newark went to the polls? - on a jolly in the EU of course.

Here's a far more interesting story for those interested in UKIP. It contains revelations about a new UKIP Member of the European Parliament:
