Police, fire and ambulance have been called to a three-car crash in Bournemouth tonight.

The incident, at the junction of Wimborne Road and Vicarage Road in Moordown, was reported to police as a car fire just after 7.05pm.

The person who reported it was a police officer who came across the incident, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said.

One person was complaining of a slight injury so paramedics were also called.

The fire service were also called as one car was smoking.

The police spokesperson said the incident was not serious and the road was not closed.
