A WOMAN who was knocked off her bike by a hit-and-run driver was not seriously injured, police have confirmed.
The incident happened at around 7am on Friday in Belle Vue Road, Bournemouth.
The woman, 37, was hit from behind by a car that failed to stop.
The car’s door mirror was left at the scene after the impact and police said it belonged to a white Ford Focus.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact them as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call police on 101, quoting message 58 of May 23.
