ASPIRING fashion designers had the thrill of seeing their clothes on the catwalk as part of South Coast Fashion week.
Models sported designs by Bournemouth and Poole College students during two themed fashion shows at the BIC – one entitled ‘Suitably Dressed’ and the other ‘Shall We Dance?’ South Coast Fashion Week, which ran for three days, included fashion shows, performances and music. Arts University Bournemouth students also had their work featured and there were several House of Fraser fashion shows.
The event was sponsored by Dorset and Hampshire hairdressing salon group Scissors, who tasked stylists from their eight local salons to create show-stopping hair styles for the models.
They also looked after the hair of the winners of the Face of South Coast Fashion Week competition and the new reigning Miss Dorset 2014.
