A WOMAN was rescued from a car by fire crews following a collision in Wimborne this afternoon.
Three crews were deployed to the scene on Pilford Lane at 2pm where the car had hit a hedge on the side of the road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire said: “Crews from Ferndown, Redhill Park and Wimborne attended and a female had to be rescued from a vehicle.”
The spokesperson added that the crews had helped transfer the victim to the ambulance before leaving the scene by 2.40pm.
