Victorian features of BCCA building retained
1:00pm Wednesday 9th April 2014 in News
THE original Victorian features of the Boscombe Centre for Community Arts (BCCA) are being retained as the building is replaced with housing and a creative hub.
Victorian fireplaces, gothic wooden doors and oak sliding sash windows are some of the features that have been salvaged. The 1878 site is being redeveloped with affordable housing, a community orchard and a creative hub.
Cllr Jane Kelly, cabinet member for regeneration and partnerships, has welcomed the preservation.
The creative hub is due to be completed by May. Residents who would like to register an interest in owning a home can email firstname.lastname@example.org
