EMERGENCY services attended a crash between a car and a motorcycle in William Road, Bournemouth, this afternoon.

As a result of the incident, which occurred at 2pm, police closed off William Road at its junction with Thistlebarrow Road.

No-one was injured in the accident and the road was re-opened later. Traffic was busy in the area as football fans were heading to the nearby Goldsands Stadium to see Cherries play Burnley.

Glad that all parties escaped without injury, looking at the car it looks like more than a little bump, so looks like a lucky escape for the rider, although I'm sure they will be a bit sore tomorrow morning, to many motorcyclist being injured these days, so glad I swapped for 4 wheels.

Just collected the bike and rider, I'm absolutely amazed that he escaped without serious injury, the car definitely came off worse that the Bandit though

So glad the rider is ok, I wish him a speedy recovery on any injuries he may have.
